This is one of the most famous urban legends of Peru. It is said that two daring adventurers "in some versions of two young men speaking English, in others they are Americans," after learning the existing legends about "Chinkana" of Cuzco (tunnels built by the Incas), about these unexplored labyrinths connecting underground places such as Sacsayhuaman and the Cathedral of Cuzco, the Inca fortress and the Temple of Santo Domingo (once the mythical Koricancha), and even connecting as far away as Lake Titicaca, Lima and Quito, ... and in them, the Incas hid tesoros.Animados fabulous adventures by the desire (and foal ambition), these two tourists / adventurers finally ventured to join the "big chinkana, located at Sacsayhuaman, near the place known as "Rodadero." What they saw or found no one really knows exactly. After several months, one of them suddenly appeared, emerging from the basement of the cathedral in the imperial city, his clothes were tattered, he had aged considerably and sporting a shaggy beard, ... rather as if they had spent years, since the beginning of his strange journey. He had a blank stare, like those of lost forever reason, never able to clarify the end of his companion. Since then, all entrances to the walled Chinkana found, the fact that many of these entries are found in Catholic churches also generates distrust, suspecting the dark religious interests in this proceeding. Also, from time to time, moving in Cuzco, stories about tourists gone forever, after entering and then not ever leave, the Incas Chinkana, attracted by the desire unravel the mystery, or looking to get rich.
