SANTIAGO 1:2-4
Discouragement is one of the weapons Satan's most effective, he knows that if he can destroy our spirit, we will be useless in achieving something for Christ.
Let the downward spiral created by this destructive force. One sign of discouragement is a divided mind. This basic blur affects every area and every decision. No matter what you do, feels like a dark cloud was covering all his mind. Discouragement leads also to the "blame game", where we feel a deep inner need to blame someone.
You want God's rebuke, it has led to painful circumstances in your life, or blame others for the way they treat you. Perhaps yourself feel guilty about bad decisions or mistakes in the past. But blaming others is useless. Trying to put the responsibility on others for the problems in his life, has never been for nothing.
Anger is another common sign that someone is discouraged. When this occurs, the dislocation can develop a spirit of revenge, and eventually lead to retaliation. If you allow anger to grow, without resolving, it will easily become depressed.
In this case, resentment acts as a cancer that slowly spreads and destroys life. The behaviors described above are not what one would expect of a follower of Christ, right? However, are too evident among Christians. Ask your Heavenly Father you search your heart, you show any signs of these destructive seeds, and avoid disappointment they bring to your life.

discouragement CONSEQUENCES PLAN ANTI STRESS

brother and very good to have brought the topic, because the silent evil of stress, it has become a permanent guest in their daily lives, making us unable to identify a time and distance from our purpose in life, resulting in poor spiritual, physical and mental
I think that as Christians we have not given due attention to this sensitive issue of stress. When one considers the physical consequences of stress we realize that we are subjecting our bodies to a constant pressure ends deteriorate. The Bible says our body is a temple of the Spirit Santo and if we destroy it, God will punish them for it (1 Corinthians 3:16,17).
Some physical consequences of strees are
1. Insomnia and nervous tension.
2. Headaches, neck, back, ulcers, strokes, cancer, etc..
3. Hair loss.
4. Stomach upset, diarrhea, constipation.
5. Fatigue, exhaustion, low physical performance.
6. Propensity to use stimulants such as alcohol, cigarettes or drugs
7. Mood swings.
8. Difficult to relate well with others.
9. Difficulty making decisions.
10. depression.
Stress causes us to sin. Here are some ways that it does:
1. We have seen that is physically capable of destroying our body, and that we can bring serious problems with God.
2. Not disabled or at least makes it difficult to be good spouses, good parents, children, employers, employees, neighbors, students and citizens in general.
3. Makes us anxious and eager, and the Bible tells us that we are anxious for nothing (Philippians 4:6), and let all our anxiety on God because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7).
4. It makes us worry about things over which we have no control and therefore make us get into an area that is of God (Matthew 6:25-32).
5. Leads us to be aware of many things that we forget what is really important and that lasts forever (Luke 10:38-42).
6. Evidenced by our little faith and dependence on God (Matthew 6:25-33).
7. Us equal to the world's people who do not believe or hope in God (Matthew 6:32).
8. Invest our priorities to get a first look at second-importance (Matthew 6:32,33).
9. Prevents us to enjoy this day by being aware of what will come tomorrow (Matthew 6:34).
10. Keeps up to appreciate and enjoy the presence of Jesus Christ (Luke 10:38-42).
can we do?
1. Determine if you are stressed . You just have to review the physical symptoms, emotional and spiritual.
2. determines the level of stress you have . It is not the same feeling a headache from time to time, to have it several times a week. So if your case has led you to serious physical problems, to depression (mild or severe) or is squeezing you relate well with God and with others, then you will need to take urgent and strong.
3. carefully examines what causes you stress . Some people are stressed one thing and another does not cause the slightest concern. For example, someone may get stressed a lot while driving, fighting with all the drivers who pass by. Others take it in stride and go talking or listening to the radio and enjoying the moment. Also people who pass very well at home but at work it all becomes a battlefield. In short, they must see that causes you stress so that it can cope where he produces and what you produce.
4. Reprogram your thinking . When we got used to thinking negatively, that impacts us very hard on all our lives. Behavioral therapists say that the bad feelings and bad actions are a direct result of wrong thinking. So learn to think, to yourself, others and circumstances that may arise. On this point I would add:
a) Remember that you have been created in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:26,27). Everything in fact you have been a perfect and God has placed in its proper place because your life is part of a purpose of God (Psalm 139:12-15).
b) recognizes that those who love God all things work together for good (Romans 8:28). That is, if whatever we are hard and difficult to accept, we believe that that fact (which it may be a result of our error) will use God for our good, that is, for the eternal salvation of our souls.
c) Think of others. It runs the risk that you will be ripped and be prepared for that, but do not live in a constant mistrust and suspicion continues, because the way they think will attract the worst. Always look for the good of the people and thus bring out the best of them. Remember that the second greatest commandment is love your neighbor as yourself (Mark 12:31). There is nothing more rewarding than God to have good relations with others. Relationships are more important than the achievements and material possessions, so remove a little stress getting along with others, accepting them as they are, having patience with them and forgive your mistakes, because you is not perfect (Colossians 3:12 -15).
d) Think about what you're thinking. Do not let your thoughts wander to the negative things that lead to sin. Force yourself to throw away the bad thoughts and think only good things and positive. " Moreover, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, think on these things " (Philippians 4:8).
5. Set priorities in your life . If you have God as an afterthought which comes when you are in trouble, then your life will always be stressed, because you lost the purpose of your life and go forward looking for something that gives meaning to everything. The Bible says everything that exists and in particular we have been created by and for the (Colossians 1:16, Romans 11:36). So to love God with all thy heart, your soul, your mind and your strength should come first in your life. Serving God fill your life with meaning and everything you do will be exciting, whatever happens you will have special significance. So, fear God and keep His commandments, because this is the whole duty of man (Ecclesiastes 12:13 ). Then if married dedicate yourself to cultivate your relationship (1 Corinthians 7:31-34) and then the children. Do not reverse the order to not regret it. Then the other things like work and other studies. Do not let work take precedence over his family. Remember that relationships are more important than the achievements or material things. See in the mirror of people who achieve many successes materials but feel sad because they have no one to share.
6. Make some major adjustments. Good habits pay big dividends in our lives. If God is first in your life, spend the first few minutes of your day with a good time of Bible reading, good conversation with him, where you will put their hands on the agenda of the day and let His will be done. This will remove strees more than you can imagine. Remember that life is not God helping us realize our life, but we work so that their plans are fulfilled in our lives. So relying on the divine agenda. Take time to eat well, drinking enough water, do some exercise. All this will be helpful. Not especially eager for the day tomorrow, but if you can anticipate. For example, leave with what is going to be prepared the night before and some notes of things that are pending, in order of importance, for improvisation and haste did not betray. Go to bed early and turn off all stimuli at least hota before (TV, phone, computer, etc). Dine something nutritious, but light and try to have a good conversation with God before I sleep. Where you are going to leave enough time to avoid the rush and do what is pending in advance.
7. Avoid spending more than you earn and not compare yourself to others . There are people who want to add much stress to pretend they are not. If you learn to be happy with what you have now will be a very happy person, because you brought nothing into this world and nothing can take away (1 Timothy 6:6-10). So has the blessings that have, not what is needed, because that is dedicated to fulfilling your desires, never achieved, because the desires are multiplying and what pleased you today, tomorrow you know nothing . Think that this Thomas Aquinas said: "I want little, and how little I desire, I want some." You will find more happiness and peace by limiting their desires to please.
8. Finally, remember that your attitude (The way you react to what happens) is more important than the things themselves. Almost everything I have written attempts to produce in us to change our attitude. I have known people with few responsibilities that have high degrees of strees, it is a matter of attitude. There is a principle called 90-10 which says that 10% of what we are is determined by what happens to us and 90% is determined by how we react. You have the disición how you live your life. According to a survey of people are worried and concerned about 100 things, of which 92 have not happened and never happens, that is, that only 8% of the concerns are legitimate. Then 92% of the problem in us. If we learn to leave in God's hands our future and focus on living one day at a time, our lives will undergo a radical change for the better .... God bless you and help you.
